About Me

I’m Sami, an IT professional based in Finland with a background in project management, systems, data and games. This is my public journey into cybersecurity, AI and ethical hacking, documented from day one.

Cybersecurity has been on my radar for a long time. I kept circling back to it, drawn in by the culture, the mindset, the puzzle-solving nature of it all. Eventually something clicked. Between thinking about where technology is heading, watching the world fill up with AI and new attack surfaces, and reflecting on where I actually want to take my career, the answer became obvious.

And honestly? There’s a gamification element to hacking that I didn’t expect to find so compelling. I’ve made games. I know what it feels like when a system has rules you can learn, exploit, and master. Cybersecurity has that same feeling, except the stakes are real, the puzzles are endless, and the skills actually matter.

I decided to stop circling and start doing.

This is my learning journal, resource library, and accountability system all in one. I document what I’m studying, share the tools and courses I’m using, write up CTF challenges and experiments, and track my progress toward OSCP certification. Everything is public, the wins, the confusion, and the slow grind in between.

The goal is OSCP certification and a career in AI and cybersecurity. I’m starting from the foundations and building up systematically. The full roadmap is mapped out and publicly available.
